The 100 Lap Derby, affectionately known as the 'Bathurst of Speedway', is the biggest event held at Alexandra Speedway & runs over the Queens Birthday long weekend.
The 100 Lapper is the feature event, with race heats starting at approx. 2:00pm on the Saturday and the 100 Lap Final on the Sunday.
The Final generally has just over 40 cars and with allowed pit stops, takes just over one hour to run.
Other events over the weekend are: The Campton Cup for Standard Saloons and The Victorian Junior Short Circuit Championship for SSA Juniors, both of which are also run through the dogleg.
If you fancy having a go at The 100 Lap Derby your car must comply with the safety aspects of the ‘Open Sedan Rule Book’ which can be found on our downloads page along with nomination forms when they are released.
